My
work on sensors networks was closely knit with and continuation of
peer-to-peers systems computer science research with my thesis advisor at Brown
University, Professor Dr. Maurice Herlihy. The research focus for my thesis was
on making multiplayer gaming systems scalable
in a peer-to-peer environment through a novel application of a protocol
for best effort ordered multicast. The thesis work was also done in
collaboration with my thesis committee consisting of Professor Dr. Tom Doeppner
and Professor Dr. Ugur Cetintemel.
